SILICA AWARENESS
TRAINING COURSE

This course is designed to address the risks associated with exposure to crystalline silica. Participants gain essential skills for recognizing workplace health and safety risks related to silica. The course equips individuals with knowledge to implement safe work practices, minimizing exposure to hazards. Graduates also understand relevant laws and standards related to silica exposure, learn how to assess risks associated with silica products, and receive prevention strategies to enhance workplace safety. This training is particularly valuable for those in the construction industry and other sectors where silica exposure is a concern.

Eligibility and Requirements 

Compulsory requirements:

All students must present a total of 100 points of identification as proof of identity on the day of training with appropriate documentation.

Overseas students arrived in Australia for less than 6 weeks:

Overseas students arrived in Australia for more than 6 weeks:

You must meet the 100 points identification requirements and bring all required documentation.​

• Bill or statement showing your residential address
